Bob has had bikes since he was 11 and is the current proud owner of several classic bikes including an SS80 Brough Superior. These days he mostly spends his time behind the mountain of paperwork that he calls his desk.
Current Ride: Anything he likes!
Jeff originates from the island of Wilco, just off Thailand and was forced into hard labour in Crewe in 2013. He was working full time in retail, until Andy took pity on him and launched a daring escape bid. We quickly spotted his potential and fast-tracked him into his position of Marketing Director.
Current Ride: Kiddimoto Speed Triple.
Another long time biker, Jules started off on a chopped Puch on the Alsager fields before moving onto Tiger Cubs & T120s, BSA Bantams and the like and finally ending up on an SV650.
Current Ride: Whatever she can borrow off Bob!
The lovely Michelle is Bob’s long suffering better half.
She can usually be found with a welcoming ‘smile and hello’ on our reception, taking care of the shop admin and plying customers with refreshments.
Small but perfectly formed, Michelle mainly rides pillion with Bob, but does own her very own cute little Honda XL70.
Tiko is like a stick of rock – cut him in half and you will see ‘Triumph’ written through him. He’s had around 13 Triumphs since he started riding in 1978, and still has the Bonneville that he bought new in ’79 (and crashed in ’09).
Current Ride: Daytona 955i & 1979 T140V.
Steve, the newest member of our team! Joined our ever expanding rabble the start of Feb. Coming from the car world he actually knows what a PCP deal is! Before that he had his own busniess as a photogropher! Handy, as most of the staff here don't know what a digital camera is and Tiko still uses his old Kodak Brownie Box Camera. He is already a proven saleman and his dad is a complete Bonneville fan too!
Current Ride: Triumph Daytona 675R & occasionally his dads old Bonnie!
Craig joined us in 2015 after getting fed up with selling kettles and toasters for a living. He’s no stranger to the bike world though, having previously worked in a number of other bike dealers before he moved into electricals via cars, bullets and diggers. His first bike way back when was a KMX125 and he’s now running a Harley Fat Boy (just don’t call him that!).
Current Ride: H-D Fat Boy.
Arran is a graduate who had his first job at Jodrell Bank with Professor Brian Cox (well, he used the same table in the canteen) Having already owned over 12 bikes from the age of 17 when he was finally let loose on the roads he has a vast knowledge of everything two wheels. Such a keen Triumph fan couldn’t last long before wanting to join us and as he understands social media and can work computers, he passed the interview easily.
Current Ride: Daytona 675 + big KTM 1290 Superduke R orange thingy
Paddy joined us in October 2012 to streamline the running of the workshop. A long time biker and friend of Tiko (but please don’t hold that against him!). His main bike is a Norton and his other bike is a Pan. He can also often be seen hanging around with musicians while he plays drums in Killing Flies to Cry baby and the Hoochie Coochie Boys.
Current Ride: Norton Commando and Honda Pan Euroean
Andy bought a bike from us a few years ago and liked it so much he came to work for us – one day we might even pay him! He started on the spanners but now runs the spares department. He owns a number of bikes from Harley, BSA, Triumph (including 2 Tigers) and Buell.
Current Ride: Tiger 1050 & 955i H-D Softail etc.
Our token vegetarian and ex-racer, Paula is without doubt the quickest rider of the team and put the rest of us to shame on a recent trackday. The first bike that she ever ride was a Kawasaki Z9, while her latest purchase is a Ducati 848 to join the Daytona 675 in her stable.
Current Ride: Daytona 675 & Ducati 848
“Bubbs” has been with Bob since the very beginning, he must be a real glutton for punishment! As you’d expect, he is a fully trained Triumph technician and what he doesn’t know about the Triumph range isn’t worth knowing! Has an odd fondness for Suzukis.
Current Ride: Suzuki TL1000S & GSX-R1000
Bored of sitting in lay-bys in his truck, Paul decided to return to us here at Staffordshire Triumph in the summer of 2016. This time though he will be wearing the workshop managers hat, hooray!
With his excellent motorcycle industry pedigree, fun and happy outlook on life, we are so glad to have Paul back at Staffordshire Triumph.
Steve came to work for us after doing an apprentiship with a Vauxhall dealer, we only found out after he started with us that this didn’t get much further than sweeping the floors. Luckily, he is now Triumph & MOT trained and is easily persuaded to dress to impress!
Current Ride: Buell XB12S
Jake comes to us after serving time at 2 other local dealerships, so despite his boyish good looks he has plenty of experience including factory training from Suzuki and Harley-Davidson. Jakes claim to fame is that his Dad’s Thruxton is famous (it’s in Ride magazine, dontchaknow).
Current Ride: Yamaha R1
After 3 years in the bike trade with another local dealer Jack has just joined our ever-growing workshop team. He’s been brought up on bikes as most of his family are bikers, so it truly is in his blood. The future generation of Motorcycle mechanics and one of the most enthusiastic!
Current Ride: Kawaskai Er6-N
